One great way to keep hard surface floors clean is to use a microfiber dust mop to keep the dust and dirt off the floor and out of the building. Microfiber is one of the best solutions for capturing more dust than traditional cotton dust mops.

A microfiber dust mop is the perfect tool for wood floors, tile, ceramic and other hard surface floors. While the cotton mop is still a good all purpose mop, the blend mop is in many cases much better for general purpose mopping. This type mop is made from cotton fibers as well as a synthetic material.

Then ther is the rayon or nylon mop which is often times called a finish mop, a great choice for laying down floor finish. These mops leave less lint behind therefore allowing your floors to reflect maximum light.

And let's not forget the looped mop. This is an excellent choice for floors with more texture. They will last longer since the mop strings are not easily pulled out. And there are also mops with tailbands, blue mops, orange mops, saddle mops and screw type mops.
